  3. Add the kava powder to a strainer bag: Place the kava powder in a strainer bag or cheesecloth to make it easier to strain out later.
  4. Heat water to the right temperature: Heat water to around 120-140°F (49-60°C) to extract the kavalactones from the kava powder effectively.
