How to Play Skip Bo
- Choose a dealer to shuffle the deck of Skip Bo cards. The dealer will then deal each player 30 cards face down.
- Each player draws 5 cards from their personal deck to form their hand. The rest of the cards are placed in a draw pile in the center of the table.
- The goal of the game is to be the first player to empty their stockpile of 20 cards.
- Players take turns drawing cards from the draw pile and playing them on one of the four building piles in ascending order. The building piles are started with a 1 card and continued to 12.
- Players can also play cards from their hand onto their own personal stockpile in numerical order. Players must play cards from their stockpile before playing cards from their hand.
- If a player cannot make a move, they must draw a card from the draw pile. The game continues until a player empties their stockpile and calls "Skip Bo!" to win.
These are the basic rules of Skip Bo. Enjoy playing!
